Pre-Kindergarten

Your child will embark on a journey of learning and exploration in our Pre-K program. We use the Creative Curriculum to purposefully provide your child with a variety of academic experiences in problem-solving, coping skills, persistence and developing a passion for lifelong learning.

When needed, our teachers at Rising Stars Daycare will modify educational experiences based on children’s interests and strengths. All the while, we recognize each child as an individual. Using a child assessment portfolio system, the teacher will track each child’s progress daily. Teachers will use the system to communicate with parents and eventually coordinating with parents in biannual Parent/Teacher Conferences which we hold every December and June.

Our calm and comforting atmosphere provides children at Pre-K a home even if they are away from home. Here, we foster healthy academic beginnings, promote language and communication and create friendships that can be treasured for many years.
